On October 18th, Fulbright Network met with Kristalina Georgieva to present ongoing initiatives and share discuss the Network’s mission and vision. World Bank interim President / CEO, first joined the Bank in 1993 after her Fulbright Fellowship which helped fund her as a visiting scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In interviews, she describes her placement and scholarship at MIT as “luck,” but it’s clear that she was meant for great things.
