Arina Viseth, Fulbright Alumna (University of Texas at Austin) and member of the Fulbright Network, contributed to “Handbook of Small States” with the Chapter “Monetary Transmission Mechanisms in Selected Small Island Developing States with Floating Exchange Rates” (co-author Wendell Samuel).
The publication was important for me because as a desk economist for Seychelles, assessing the efficiency of monetary transmission mechanism was useful for the authorities, especially when discussing the challenges facing monetary policy implementation
